ON A CRUISE ONCE WE WERE SERVED A CHICKEN STARTER WHICH WAS DELICIOUS. I ASKED THE INGREDIENTS TO THIS STARTER AND FOUND IT USED, ALMOND, SOUR CREAM, MUSTARD, EGG YOLK, BREAD CRUMBS AND OF COURSE CHICKEN. DOES ANYONE KNOW THE NAME OF THIS RECIPE, OR MAYBE IT WAS WHAT THE CHEF MADE UP HIMSELF.? ALSO WOULD THE ALMOND BE GROUND ALMOND OR IN A TYPE OF FLOUR? MANY THANAKS FOR ANY HELP.

if i had those ingredients, thats how i would do it, but like i said, it depends on how the almonds were and if there was anything else fried at the start like onion.

I don't know the name of the recipe but i can guess how it was done, if that helps.

cover the chicken in egg then breadcrumbs and cook.
for the sauce, there may have been a small amount of fried onion, to which sour cream and mustard was added, then perhaps ground almonds were added or even toasted withotu any oil in the pan, then the cream was added.
