I could only watch the first few seconds.
As most of you know, just over a week ago I lost my baby girl. She had a favourite cushion on the end of the sofa which she LOVED to sleep on. So did the other cats - if they could get there before her. Since she died, not one of them has attempted to get on that cushion. It's really strange.

My sister in law had a cat for 25 years it was a reall badass to some people who visited their house. She didn't smoke but one day I was sitting with her and the cat sat alongside me inhaling my cigarette smoke, when I'd finished it it was pawing my bag for another. lol. After it died she got another cat, but this one is really wary sometimes it's as if the other one is still around, it won't go to the corner where it's blanket used to be.

That is so sad - i find it strange - but understandable, sort of - that someone thought to film it. Poor puss, there's a desperation in his behaviour, and yes, they know. I hope someone helped him afterwards, I bet he followed when his mate was lifted from the road....
Like pericat, I had twin boy cats, one died aged 10 at the vets and the other one KNEW that morning before we did - and the one left behind did come out of himself. Wierdly, cat 2 died the same weekend the following year.

DrF, I couldn't watch it either. So heartbreakingly sad.
When my OH and I were younger we rescued many waifs and strays. We had three large aviaries in our garden and often took in unwanted/neglected birds.
Many a time we'd find that when a bird's mate died, the bird that was left starved itself to death. It didn't want to live without its mate. It was horrible to witness and we felt so helpless that we couldn't do anything to stop it.

I love the people on here, they all really care about animals, and hardly anyone has snide remarks about how much the other person loves animals,I think you are all great,I really do and wish with all my heart that a lot more people would be like you then there would be no cruelty to animals which I abhor,You are a cracking lot.
