in glasgow we have a call centre for about 40 vets in the area,at night it takes all emergencies,my wee dog ended up there last night, the vet did'nt hold out much hope for him, when we went back to get him this morning he was very sleepy and sedated,we had to take him to the pdsa.they kept him in again as he kept falling over, they think he has either got an ear infection or a brain tumour,he has lost weight and his kidneys arent functioning properly what a day we have had,we need to take him back to the vet tomorrow at 10 to see if they can make a diagnosis,we got him home for the night and he's just lying sleeping,i dont think the prognosis is going to be good.

Not sure if dogs are same as cats re the kidneys, my Rover has been on a daily tablet for his kidney failure for the past 2 years and is restored to good health on his meds. Thinking of you - he must be worn out, at least he's home tonight with you.
