Shih Tzu/Poodle

I am thinking of breeding my shih tzu/poodle cross bitch. I am concerned at cross/cross breeding. Can any knowledgable people advise the best breed they would recommend. Many Thanks.

lankeela's article is... how do you Brits say? Spot on... Fact is the first generation (F1) off spring of cross breeds actually isplay more genetic vigor than either of the parents, but continued cross-breeding degrades the genetic line. We have (actually, Mrs. C has) a Bichon/Shih-tzu cross (called a Zuchon) and she's a very active,intelligent and healthy little dog (now 2 yearsold) but the breeders stress not tobreed her for any further cross's. My Vet confirms their advice...
