KM Links Game - October week 2 results

Good morning all, from a hot and windy south oz !! Yesterday's beautiful day disintergrated into a hot night and a strong northerly this morning - if this is Summer, I'm emigrating !!

Well Kate caught us all on the hop - last time she presented us with LIVER and matched it with Chestnut, I think Strix was about the only one who got it and the fact that his theme was supposed to on horses, I should have been awake to it .... but NO, and neither was anyone else, so those points went homeless

The matches this morning were -

Bread Sauce
Count Down
Liver Chestnut
Blue Whale

Too many choices, that's what it all boiled down to and the avalanche of points went to MM instead - oh well. you can't win them all !!

Five entrants collected three points each for matching two and they were TYREPILL, TTFN, GRENMUS, BARB7771 & ANGLER while a further 27 added a point their tally, but that still left rather a lot of us languishing at the bottom of the chart, waiting to make our assault - hope we don't leave it too long !!

Copious Congratulations and a Very Well Done to all the scorers - thank you for carrying the banner aloft !!

Though the Leader Board is still pretty much in it's infancy, I'll post this and follow with it so's not to overstay my welcome on this [see, the weather's got to me already, I'm all ready talking gibberish !! ] so we'll rconvene next Saturday, same time, same place for the next foray, have a good week, and I'll see you all then skz

Re. Dustybin - was on the phone to her recently. She hasn't been too well and was also attempting a massive spring (autumn?) clean, but assured me she was on the mend. Will phone again in a day or two if anyone wants to leave a message for her.

I'd also wondered what had happened to Dustybun. Sorry to hear she's not been well but glad sh's improving. I hope she hasn't worn out too many dusters.

tearinghair - liver chestnut is a recognised colour of a horse which my oh told me at least twice I should have put - hated telling him he was right !!!
