Stodgy pooh returns in kittens...
Hi there,
I took my 9 week l kittens to t vets last week as they had stodgy pooh with traces of blood in it. She gave them Panacur paste and Pro-kolin. After 5 days it went away but I have carried on with the Pro-kolin. She said to give then another round of Panacur on Monday but double the dose.
Today I have noticed that the littlest kitten has stodgy pooh again.
Is this just because he needs the second round of Panacur would you say??
Cheers,
Rachel

The Panacur paste should be given for three consecutive days and they should be weighed accurately to ensure the correct dose. Instructions:

The other thing is that if it's a bug, they could be passing it back and forth between them. When my old cats were kittens one of them had a stomach bug and he passed it on to the female. It went on for a good few months with one of them getting better and the other getting it. On the vet's advice I fed them boiled rice and chicken/white fish till it cleared up. Once it was finally gone they were both fine and lived long and healthy lives :)
