Well,

I have put new batteries in and it works, but I haven't got any earphones and can't find the mains adaptor.

Unfortunately, the cat decided to help me by getting in the drawer with the old mobile phones, several adaptors plus all sorts of other forgotten things and played with the all the leads. Cat and I are exhausted.

Hopefully pusskin has a mains adaptor and earphones!!
