Brilliant (what a surprise!) - thank you for that, I'll go to bed smiling now!
That's brought a smile to my face. Thanks for posting it. x

I couldn't agree more Chris!! xD
This clip reminds me of dear old Ethel .... I sent a copy of it to her a long time ago.

Thank you Mrs C. ;-)
(I hope that you liked by big cats vid from last night!)

This is nearly 8 minutes long but it's well worth watching!

I've just watched your big cat vid Chris. Lovely innit! (Thought about "your" puss when the name "Tiger" came up at the end - I bet you still miss him loads).

I still think a lot about my poor wee stray puss, although she died many years ago. Wish I'd taken some video footage of her.
Chris, that clip of lots of cats is ace! I especially like the one that chased the bear away.

:o)
Thanks for your post, Mrs C.

I've watched the big cats vid several times tonight. It makes me smile every time I see it.

There's so much in life that I wish I'd photographed or videoed. Strangely, even though nearly everyone seems to have a camera phone these days, I'd be prepared to bet that people will be saying the same thing for many years to come!
We're cross-posting here, Mrs C!

The cat that chased the bear reminded me of the big black cat I used to have, called Sharka. He'd go out hunting for German Shepherds, so that he could chase them down the street ;-)
My puss was a wuss. She was scared of everything - even birds.

She was the most lovely, gentle cat I've ever come across (and I've come across quite a lot as my sis takes in rescue cats).
Mrs C - the stuffed cat clip was excellent. It was really awful - like a cut price cuddly toy.

Daily-Editor - kittens are cute and that was a really cute little clip. There is a magazine advert for Cats Protection that has a ginger cat - it is a gorgeous pussy cat.

Chris - 8 minutes is a long time but it didn't seem like it. It is great to know that other people his stupid or clumsy cats too. Merlin's idea of running down the stairs is to launch herself off the top landing and hope for the best.

I am now going to reclaim my bed and read my papers in comfort.

;-)

Susan, re the stuffed cat .... I remember it being shown on That's Life many years ago. Quite sad that the taxidermist made such a mess of stuffing the poor thing, but I couldn't help but laugh.
Nice question title. One way of making sure people read your posts, I suppose:-)
I checked out the Jingle Cats on Chris' link, I've still got that bookmarked from last year - all three of mine were staring at the computer screen.

Those black ones had 'em worried for a few minutes, obviously saying something important!
Mrs C - I can understand keeping the ashes of a dead pet or relative. I am not at all sure about getting it stuffed though.

I think that I will buy the singing Jingle cats CD and play it to annoy/amuse/anger the customers in our Oxfam shop when I am 'on duty'.
Susan, I think the idea of having your pet stuffed is rather strange. Wouldn't do for me.

I once bought a house from a couple who were keen on stuffed animals, they'd left a dead bird of prey in the freezer when they moved out. They'd been intending to have it stuffed but had forgotten about it. It was an unpleasant find for me!
