Last week l posted a question regarding my fish which was found on the kitchen floor when we got up. This Sunday, there it was again. Again I scooped it up and put it back in the water. Full recovery, right as rain. Why does it keep doing this?

Is your tank big enough? Do you have a cat? Maybe he's suicidal. Sorry - not much help.

natalie_1982, where do you get these sites from?! Do you get any work done? It would seem my fish is not alone in his habits... Thanks natalie.
I googled "fish jumped out of tank", and I do as little as humanly possible ;-)
Please put a lid on your tank! Problem solved. Lots of fish naturally jump, and its asking for trouble to have an open tank. Your might be too late one day! Brave fish to do it twice...

Fish tend to jump when they're stressed.  Do the fish get on?  Are they near anything that could be stressing them out - tv/radio/loud noise (although fish don't have ears they can sense vibrations in the water!)?
