How to stop greedy pigeon, magpie and seagull from scoffing the food I put out for the little birds - any "big-bird proof" feeders you know of? Thanks

Is it possible for you to make a frame from 2" wire netting to surround the feeding station? If not maybe a relative or friend.

Yes - buy a holder to put the food for the little birds in. Little birds won't come anyway if the big birds are about.
By the way it's better to put your own heading (e.g. Bird Feeding) in the title - I opened this thread thinking it was about Queen Charlotte, but you've put your name in the title!

One isn`t used to modern technolog! Will try to put things in the right box in future. Thanks for the bird advice, Boxtops. Wasn`t one good, by the way, in not throttling a pigeon that got into my lovely clean conservatory today and created unbellievable plant and ornament destruction and evidence of its panic over everything.
ooh - I can imagine. We are plagued with seagulls here, they spot a bacon rind from 30,000ft.

Thanks again, Wildwood and Boxtops; good suggestions. We insult people by calling them "bird brain" but those big uns are plenty brainy enough to circumvent everythng I`ve tried so far. Lovely day, isn`t it? Enjoy.
