Its a long shot but....

I`m wracking my brains to remember and veteran (i`m thinking actor but he could possibly be a singer). He was a very tanned bloke with wirey grey hair. Think he used to appear on shows like parkinson back in the day. Not sure if he was called frank or frankie, but something is telling me he might have been an equevalent of a british sinatra. Arggggg its driving me made trying to remember his name, and for what its worth i think his eyes always looked abit dopey. Not a lot to go on but i`m sure somebody will help me out.
