I hate STA Travel.

i hate them. dont go with these people, they have driven me insane this last 6 months. just been on the phone to them trying to see if my tickets for the show "Love" by Cirque du Soleil have gone through. still trying but to no avail, i think im going mad!
any one else had such issues with this company? they are so frustrating!!

lol i used them once but only for air tickets - they were ok. Whats a travel service doing booking theatre tickets ofr you?

they do sightseeing tours and hotel bookings etc. i found tickets to 'love' and its one of the shoes i really wanted to see. i dont think they should provide them though if they cant deliver! and what makes it worse, is that when i got through to the 5th person he had a lovely voice so all my anger went! haha. im calm though... deep breaths

I used them when i went travelling with my partner in 2006, they seemed ok.

Maybe you just had a bad experience with a jobs-worth? :-(

Anyway Cirque du Soleil operate their own booking system (0800-1548-0000), so you shouldn't be booking through any agencies at all.
