I'm ok slinky, just fed up. Plaster now been on for six weeks and apart from a two week check up at hospital haven't spoken to another person apart from hubby for six weeks. I may be going slightly mad.
That would drive me mad Jan, hubby thinks that suitable topics of conversation include the inner workings of the machines he fixes at work, riveting for other engineers I'm sure........hope your OH isn't so work focused!
Sorry Jan, think I am suffering from foot in mouth syndrome, popped off here and then realised what I had said......don't come on often enough to keep up with goings on, how is your hubby now?
It's ok slinky. Hubby got all clear last week. Doesn't have to have a check up for a year. Still struggling with eating and breathing problems from having oesophagus removed but no cancer any more so have to take it one step at a time. Just having him here is a bonus. :-) Hope you are well too.
Thats great news Jan about the all clear:-) and I guess you don't appreciate what you have til you nearly lose it, night night, I'm off to give my OH a hug:-)
Thank you for a well needed laugh, slinkycat, I thought my cat was barmy!
Jan, I had no idea of your problems as I don't get on here as often as I'd like. To think that you were sympathising with me the other night, when you have all that on your own plate. It makes you realize how nice people can be. Thank you!
Bless you sir alec. It's been a very difficult year for me with hubby being diagnosed with cancer and I'm disabled anyway but people on here have been wonderful and really supportive. Makes you realise that there are people everywhere who have been through it and care. xx
