Sherbet Lemons.
11 Answers
I bought some Sherbet Lemons yesterday, I've had a fancy for them for ages.
I saw them in a 'Pound' shop & looked forward to enjoying them when I got in. But I was quite disappointed, they are lemon but not that lemon shape pimpley feel ones, they taste sherbety but I wanted those that were filled with sherbet powder that burst on your tongue. You older peeps know what I mean.
Anyone know where I can get the real maccoy.?

I have an excellent Tobacconist around the corner from me - and they sell sweeties from jars. Yummy

Thanks Wolfy, I had a look but its hardly worth ordering a quarter of sweets, the postage costs more than the sweets.
I think there's some truth in what you say Hopkirk.
Chris, you always come up with the goods. Unfortuneately neither place is very near me. I'm at least 2 miles out of town, But next time I am in town I'll be definately stocking up.
One of my old neighbours Kathy 87 told me of a place a few streets awaytoday, soo I'm off there tomorrow, Kathy wants some bulls-eyes.

I think that description might well apply to quite a few people tomorrow, Jemisa!
If you're looking for a drink (and an oasis of calm along the seafront) I strongly recommend Tiffin's Lounge Bar. It's part of an Indian restaurant but you can use it like a pub (and I've seen people take their kids in). It's near the Kursaal:
