seagulls
14 Answers
I live in a town where there are a lot of seagulls but lately they have taken to flying over the houses nearly all night making a real racket - it seems one makes a sort of calling noise and the others answer it back - but its getting to the point where its not funny and keeping everyone awake - anyone know why they do this throughout the night?

Until you have been shat upon by a seagull scoring a direct hit you don't know what pain is. They must have satnavs in their arses. If Churchill had signed them up in September 1939 instead of Spitfires the war WOULD have been over by Christmas!
It's the babies, queries, I leave at the seaside and this morning at 430, then was a tiny bit of proper Dawn Chorus then the whole world was taken over by seagull shenanigans, I have never heard such a racket. The sort of squealing noise is the huge babies still on the rooftops, calling for food (they are big and grey with long legs, but not flying yet).
