my 2 goldfish

whenever i feed my 2 goldfish one of them goes first for the food floating on the top - then it nudges the other one up to the top so it can get some food. Ive had plenty of goldfish and ive never seen it before and seeing as goldfishes dont have a long memory - why it is doing this?

Who told you that goldfish have short memories? It wasn't a goldfish and I bet you have forgotten so a goldfish might say something similar about humans??!
