see/ring your vet?
how old is she?
Question Author
she's 9 weeks bednobs, I only collected her yesterday!....
Are her stools solid or runny? Is she on dried complete food or tinned moist ?
are you feeding her the same stuff as the breeder was?
Question Author
she's on dried food, Eukanuba for small breed for age 1 to 12 months, she's a cocker spaniel, her stools are not runny, but soft!.......
Question Author
yes bednobs, think so, they gave me the starter pack of food for her, but maybe it's one they give out, but don't actually feed them themselves!..starting to wonder, as the breeder said that she may have some loose stools due to the change!...
Assuming she's not eaten loads of grass or other vegetable matter then green poo can be an indication of digestive stress. Did you get a diet sheet from the breeder and have you followed it? Any changes to a diet must be gradual or it can upset the digestive system.
I wouldnt worry too much unless as Bednobs has said you are feeding a different food from what the breeder fed her? It could be a mild tummy upset with different food, excitement, new surroundings. As long as she is not vomiting or off her food just keep an eye on her. As a new mum though you will worry about her its natural, if you are concerned just get her to your vet for a check up.

thanks purple, she seems fine in herself, she's eating, not all of what the breeder recommended, but most of it, and she's playing and happy, sleeps a fair bit in between, but I think that's natural given her age, will see how she goes tomorrow, and then pop her to the vet on Monday if i'm still concerned, have to say that her stools smell really bad!.......is that natural at her age?.......
Dog poo does smell lol....please dont worry (easier said than done!) all that matters right now is that her poo is soft but NOT runny....good luck, keep us updated on Callie's progress, brings back so many memories of my pup...i miss having a dog around.
Just a thought, and Im sure you havent - but has she had any cow's milk to drink ?
Question Author
thanks purple, will update you!.....sure she'll be fine, thanks for the advice!.....
PS Welsh, dont give her any cow's milk to drink.....lol....not good little tummies.
*not good FOR little tummies*
Question Author
no I won't purple, being really careful, just her food and water, that's it!..
just like a human baby as to coo cream - and no, Welshie, no human milk either.....
Question Author
Don't worry DT!.......will never happen!...
Also a good idea to give the breeder a phone call, they will often be a great help.
Question Author
RATTER, yes thought of that tonight, will give them a call in the morning, they were really nice folk!.....obviously very kind to their dogs!.....
