I have had Orchids for years and think I know how to look after them ok. I know they drop their flowers, then they come back etc and they dont like too much water etc. I always have a bottle of mineral water on the go, still or sparkling, and the other day I had about an inch left in the bottle. I tipped it into a double Orchid I have and went off to work. To my surprise when I arrived home, the Orchid had perked up no end ! It just looked a lot perkier. The leaves were all pointing upwards, the stems were very upright and the flowers looked more colourful. I have since tried this with my other Orchids and they have responded brilliantly. Ordinary tap water does not have this effect. Anybody else found this out ?

Bottled waters all have different chemical analyses - one brand may be beneficial, another may be not be.
