How many loaves of bread?
18 Answers
Got 31 children for a sixth birthday party tomorrow and can't decide what would be a sensible amount of sandwiches to make. I always make too much food but don't want to look tight. I have baby sausages, sausage rolls, crisps, party rings and fairy cakes. Do you think three loaves of bread will be enough? (PS - I have ditched the healthy option as it never gets eaten and it is a party so it's meant to be fun!) Thanks.

I think the food part should be banned - they don't eat it and it causes hassle for parents as it usually in-between meals. They won't get their food till 3.30, so its not lunch or tea. (Eddie - I bought the sausage rolls because mine love them as a treat - they could eat the ones I have by themselves.)
I think that because lots of parties for kids are now in hired halls, they are just not used to having jelly and ice cream for dessert!.......And so they don't expect it, and some have never had it either!.........my grandsons aren't keen, they'd rather have a fruit yoghurt!.......sign of the times, but I still love Jelly and Ice cream!........
