Had a great rehoming week so all new cats & kits in & some of these already reserved! Taken in a lovely girl who lost her tail & back leg due to a road accident. Owners said their other cat was bullying her. Why not keep her then & give the bully away!! Just an excuse i think cos shes disabled now!! Also taken in two lovely boys who have to be rehomed togeather. They are 8yrs old & lovely & placid so shouldn't be a problem there.

What a good week, kat!
Kat she'll get the sympathy vote though won't she, poor thing. She might be easier to rehome than the bully. Whereabouts are you BTW?
Well done, Kat!

Thanks Boxtop. Still 354 on waiting list though!!!!
If my oh would let me have cats again i'd definitely get a rescue one. Unfortunately due to my emphysema he thinks it would be a bad idea to have a cat around again :(
A great week kat - 3-legged cats can go on to lead very independent and happy lives and I'm sure the new girl will find a loving home soon xx

Haworth, West Yorks Ladybirder. We have a website, haworthcatrescue.org
The adoption site will be a little bit behind though.
Well done to you. We would both love to have cats again, unfortunately it's not possible.

Me too micmac thats why i volunteer.
I'm glad some of them are re-homed. I would love to have another but the OH isn't keen, and my next door neighbour is allergic to them. I'm sure my old Gent Tom used to sit on her back patio on purpose.

Thanks askyourgran.
One of my neighbours (years ago) was always moaning about my cats. That was until she got mice. She begged us to let our cats (3) roam around her house. LOL

I bet she did micmak!!
Well done yet again Kat, do "you" ever get a break? because you deserve one.
I wish I could take some of your cats, I love their independence. I already have four in residence and I think my OH would leave if we brought any more home, at present. Good luck with the rehoming and well done on giving them such good care

Thanks chaff & nungate, it's worth it!
Aw, Kat, I've just read your post - what a wonderful job you're doing! Just to let you know, I took on a kitten 3 years ago, who had had to have one of her front legs & her tail amputated due to having been very cruelly treated. She was only about 6 weeks old when I got her and she settled in well with my other 4 adult cats (2 elderly sisters & a mum & daughter). Mischa, as I called her, is now fully grown and beautiful (she always was!) and although she's an indoor cat, because she can't climb trees to get away from anything that might chase her, she enjoys life to the full. Little monkey!
