Vet practice nurse has just phoned me they've done an xray on Merlin, it shows no abnormalities (thank god) still waiting on the Leukaemia test (other two were negative) he woke long enough to eat and drink something, nurse said he showed little interest in the squeaky mouse, and didn't want to play or come out of the holding hutch he was in.
He's 5 - and was the runt of the litter from my mum's cat Lily. The practice nurse said there was some more tests they could do, and was alright for payment, as it come to £385 or there abouts. He doesn't appear to be in pain, that's something. I just wish I knew what was wrong with him - I had to put a cushion on my knees last night, my hubby asked why I was stroking the cushion!
I'm SO glad I insisted we get pet insurance
This is probably a daft thing to say, but have they checked him for cystitis? My little male cat, Monty, developed it after being attacked by a feral tom.
