conjunktivitis in dogs...

Excuse my spelling, is conjunktivitis in dogs contageous, my 18 month old jack russell came into contact with a dog with it this evening, just a bit concerned, what should i look out for if he's caught anything?

Conjunctivitis is a condition rather than a disease. It's like earache, headaches or itchy skin, in both humans and animals. The condition itself isn't infectious but what is causing the condition might be.
