How have your pets been on bonfire night?

Hope they are all ok, my JRT has decided its his duty to see the fireworks off, had to get stern with him last night, thought he was ok but as soon as we got to our friends for a party tonight, our daughter texted to say he was going manic again so we had to come home, bless him!

a dreadful night, now thankfully stopped. he spent most of the night in the bathroom, and would^nt go outside for at least 7 hours :(

Fireworks? Er, what fireworks?

Yes, of course there have been some but far, far fewer than in previous years. All I've noticed were a few fireworks being let off by some people across the road last night and the usual big council display tonight from the football club site up the road. I reckon that everyone must have decided to save money and go to the community event (or simply not bother) because that's been al that I've seen (or heard) around here.

So Noisy doesn't seem to have been bothered by the fireworks. She's been coming and going through the cat flap as usual tonight.

Sooty has actually been pretty docile tonight. She gets scared at her own shadow so I really don't know how the fireworks don't bother her. She's a tad odd lol :-)

The rabbits have been doing back flips.....I've kept them in the house tonight. The cat isn't bothered...

Lucky you Chris, I like fireworks but the "lovely" neighbours have just finished letting them off!

Moocat got undeneath the king-size bed, right in the centre, and stayed put. If she had fingers she'd have put them in her ears.
We haven't heard a single firework all season - most unusual. Last night there was the usual big charity display down the road.
But some neighbours three down and over the back had a huge party. No problem. They lit a huge bonfire at about 7.30 - and I mean huge. It's a wonder they've still got fences.But not my problem.
They started drinking about the same time and went on till gone 03.00. They were letting off very large fireworks as well as smaller ones throughout the time - the last rockets went about 03.00. Many of these were very large fireworks, and because five of the rockets came to earth in my garden, I know for a fact that they are display rockets 'spectators should stand 25m away'' on the side.
These have been let off in a small suburban garden without any thought of the consequences.
Incidentally, the people who did this aren't kids, but supposed 'proper adults'. it makes you despair.

My dog was trembling all Halloween evening. There were a few fireworks last night, but not many.

Leo is bombproof, but he is a gundog so sudden loud bangs dont bother him anyway....

Tigger and Blue are fine and Little Tiggs slept right through it. I'm the one that suffered! Lol

No problem here, Frank had one barking session when there was a particularly loud bang but apart from that he just slept by the fire.

We had a BBQ in the garden with some friend, Merlin and Gilligan were fine but the younster Keeva was a little unsure and lay down in the summerhouse with us, she isnt usually allowed in there.

Mine are all okay with fireworks as I accustom them to everything when they're little including fireworks , loud bangs and general weirdness. I had a rescue dog that always panicked but she's long gone bless her.

Some genius in my house thought it would be a good idea to let the cat out just before the fireworks started. After about 30 minutes I found him hiding under the BBQ. He then hid himself under the stairs for a few hours until he heard me opening a can of tuna in the kitchen to make a sandwich. You'd be amazed how quickly he perked up then!

They started here at just before 5pm last night. I'd just taken Sally out for her walk....as soon as she heard the first one,she was ready to bolt back home.
She spent the night-until midnight-shivering,panting-and she wouldn't eat.
Since she seems to associate the worst noise with the park-she will refuse to go there for the foreseeable future....I hate fireworks...and I hate seeing my dog suffer.
I'd only just started to let her off lead about six weeks ago....I will need to start all over again - trying to help her regain her confidence - when the noisy season is over
