Today we are indeed feasting. My inlaws have invited the whole family round for a curry and I have made a cod, salmon and monkfish Goan Curry and a huge Victoria sponge with fresh cream and jam to take round there.

What's on your menu today?

Okies, SC. X

Originally I was going to make fish pie, but then we got invited around there.
I'm making a chicken casserole and a fishermans pie which I'm going to put into small portion pots and freeze for Little Tiggs. I'm going to have some of each for myself today though. Makes a change from ham and cheese sandwiches which is my usual Sunday feast :o)

Hey Tiggs. That sounds nice.
Can't wait to start making them NM. My parents are coming round with some potatoes which I haven't got enough of to make both dishes.
I can't afford much so I guess I will be having the usual baked "BEAN" on a bit of stale toast.....................altogeter with the heart rending violins now!!!
chicken tossed in spice bag...haven't tried this yet...with med. veggies and roast pots...room for apple crumble perhaps?
Mmmmm crumble :o)

i made a crumble a few years ago using apples and blackerries with a brioche-crumbed topping. It was yum.

Have you got eggs, Sprayer?

You could make eggy bread which goes really well with beans.
That curry sounds nice. Just pasta and sauce for dinner for me today but I'm just making a batch of my spiced lentil soup to take for lunches next week.
I've just had a large crust of brown bread with Dairylea - there's no room for anything else at the moment!
