Because they as good as get away with it! A 15 months community order has to be a joke for this type of offence.

Perhaps 15 months locked up in a kennel pen and a daily exercise of cleaning all the other pens of faeces seems a more appropriate sentence. I'll volunteer to supervise!

I read that this week and it really upset me, I dont understand what is wrong with people these days taking out their anger on innocent animals, there doesnt seem to be a day that goes by without reading one of these stories :/

I don't understand anyone doing anything like this either, I find it distressing that people value their pets so little. I feel guilty if I shout at the dog and she looks at me with "those eyes"!

Can I just say "thank you" to anyone who has ever reported animal cruelty to the RSPCA - and a "BIG THANK YOU" to the RSPCA, who do a fantastic job in protecting these poor animals.
Let's all support the RSPCA whenever we can.
