Well I love cats, and I feel sorry for the kitten, but its not really much different to feeding live rats to snakes, which thousands of people do every day (because most snakes will only eat live food).
There are some sick bar stewards in this world.
Oh god-I wish the photos were not in the article.....that is hugely disturbing and sickening.
I hope they get the b*****d....a snake bite would be divine retribution for such scum.
That's one of the sickest things I've ever seen, and I hate cats!

I love cats and I quite like rats too (have had them as pets before), I don't even have anything against snakes.
I just think the way this sick barsteward petted and played with the cat and then let the snake get it whilst filming it was very sick and twisted.
I can't imagine anyone being callous enough to feed ANY live animal to another. I know that it goes on in the wild and that it is all about survival of the fittest. But this guy did this just for kicks.

I see that they got a quote from Pete Wedderburn - he has a facebook page "Pete the Vet" and he writes in thee Telegraph. He seems like a nice guy - vets are faced with morons who claim to be animal lovers all the time. ;-(
I only hope that as the kitten had a name, it wasn't someone's much-loved pet...... So sick to film it, too.
Why did I click on the link? :(
Not everything needs to be filmed.
I was shown this earlier by a friend at work and it made me feel very sad; the worst bit was that they apparently put on Youtube "More feeding videos to come". Also; I love cats and have absolutely nothing against rats but think it's quite different as rats that one would feed to a snake are presumably bred to be used as food and let's face it are vermin whereas cats are not.
I haven`t clicked on the link because I don`t want to see any images that I know I`m going to find seriously disturbing and upsetting. Was this on Youtube and is that where the Mail got their footage from? If so, then that makes them complicit in giving "airtime" to the people who did this and complicit in encouraging them to do more of the same.

237SJ.... yes it was on Youtube, it seems it has been traced to somewhere in south London. I should imagine it is only a matter of time before the person who did this is caught and hopefully prosecuted.
I haven't clicked on to the link because I know I'll get upset, I love cats. I hope someone finds the saddo that did this and makes him/her pay with pain.
I don't love cats, I tolerate them.

While this may be a perfectly natural event for the snake, it is the way that the kitten is 'offered' as a xmas pressie that gets my goat up. This is a sick individual.
Sick, sick, sick. I can't bear to click on the link, but I have seen the headline on the DM page, which was quite enough. I know people feed live rats and mice to snakes, but it's not a speactator sport, and Wildwood has got it right (btw I like cats and not rats, but still wouldn't voluntarily look at a video of a rat being fed to a snake).
er... spectator.
I haven't watched the video, I couldn't bear it,but I've looked at the stills.
..and I wish they wouldn't let this sort of video be replicated on other sites, it'll only give other sick idiots similar ideas...

I saw the headline earlier and couldn't face the video. I'm concerned that there is an atrocity committed against animals in the news almost weekly these days. Are they being reported more or are we really becoming a very sick society?
