Yes, along with native toads and newts...
Frogs do hibernate during the winter months. Hiberntaion begins in October as the weather becomes cooler, they remain in a state of hibernation waking to feed in warmer weather for short periods, until late January when they start to move to their breeding ponds. Spawning then takes place in early March and tadpoles start to hatch.
