...It wasn't actually for sale, it had just chased a cat into the window display....

When I was small the pet shops in Tib Street off Piccadilly in Manchester had windows full of puppies and kittens and rabbits and guinea pigs....I expect you could have walkd out with one even if you were carrying a bun and ketchup.

Tib Street still sells *** I believe but they cost a greta deal more.
