I'll happily try to work out how you can get there - and what the visa requirements are - if you'll say where you're starting from. (This is a UK-based website but people posting here in the early hours of the morning are often in the USA. It would be pointless for me to type out all of the travel options from London if, say, you're in Chicago!)

depends when you go i went Aug - Sept the weather is cooler but Sept was very cold, the food is hard to take i took a few bits with me i managed to get some whiskey for the freezing nights the people are wonderful the Country is beautiful . Ulaanbaatar is the capital and has some modern cars, hotels, fashion clothing, and restaurants but still keeps its own culture i done a lot of horse riding living with some families in the Gurs i can tell you more, have a great time.
