Scratching Cat
Hiya... One of my cats, over the last couple of weeks, has been scratching her back... It seems to be the area at the base of her tail, where it joins her back, and its making her ''jumpy''... she's flicking herself around, trying to get to that area all the time...If we touch her back.. she twitches her back, and starts licking.. either the air or her front paws!! We cant see anything... and she's had two lots of frontline, flea and tick treatment, it obviously hasn't done the trick.....Anyone got any idea's what this could be? Thinking maybe we better let the vet have a look at her... don't want to its soooooo stressy.. cat doesn't like it much either!! *Chortlesplutters* Ta everso for any thought on this.... Fleas have developed immunity to it. Just google FL not working, discard the links trying to sell it, and you will see loads of people have been having trouble with it. Same happened to my poor cat. Buy Stronghold or Advocate (instead of paying for a vet consultation) and that should sort it.
Hiya Ladybirder and Boxtops.. Thanks for the info.. I didn't know that Frontline was no good.. Mr C went to the vets with our little puss... It is only fleas.. so thats one good thing.. and we've been given Advocate to get rid!!!!! And some worming tablets... so hopfully, things will soon be calm..and less itchy...
