Can I please join josaphine in enquiring about moggies too. Thanks. x
Thanks Josaphine and Lofty. I just posted in my original thread because I didn't see this!!!!!
Just posted back in your original thread x
Am sitting here trying to type on AB, a black and white Madame lying out prostrate on the armchair left-side arm, demanding scratching, fast asleep and purring like a TGV train.
My black and white Mog is watching TV again. That's all she wants to do these days. A couch potato puss!!
I guess she is watching the "Mews," Lottie...
Hi all, just come in. Firstly BM so pleased for you that you have what will be a positive outcome. I left the vets in floods, got myself together and now this has started me off again but you are all very caring so thanks. I've left Mr Puss at vets overnight, he's having surgery tmrw morning to take alymph node out for biopsy and also x-ray at a possible mass in tummy.
Sorry, submitted too soon. She's going to ring me at work tmrw with results. If it's malignant I have to decide whether they don't bring him round or let me bring him home so they can do it at home. I can't really think it through at the moment and I don't want to be making that decision while I'm at work either. I'll let you all know. Thanks again for asking.x
Awww Prudie. I'm sorry he's not home with you. I'll keep everything crossed for you that Mr Puss is fine. I can't say don't worry because if it were me, I'd worry constantly. Please please let us know how he is tomorrow. Sending you my very best wishes for a good outcome. xxxxxxxxxxxx
Fingers crossed for you prudie and you cat. Hope it's going to be good news all round.
Prudie - I am sorry - hope it works out well x
Both of you - there are two almost identical cat verses from me over on Barmaid's thread....
Sorry Prudie, I only saw your first post. I hope it doesn't come to that. A friend of ours have a dog. A few months back he started to lose weight, wouldn't eat and was in a really bad way. They took him in and they were told pretty much what you have been told. In the event, the vet removed a non-malignant lump the size of a grapefruit from his insides somewhere. The change in him is remarkable. Not ALL lumps are malignant. non malignant lumps can have a pretty devastating effect on an animal because unlike us humas who wouldn't feel right and would tell the docs, the animal can't tell you until he start exhibiting horrid signs. I just want to give you a little hope. x
Fingers crossed for you and your boy, prudie... ♥
I have been sitting here trying to do some work - one cat balanced on the back of the chair and the other annoying me with his 'starving' antics. I really don't know what I would do without them - I can only imagine how the two of you are feeling. I haven't had a chance to read Barmaid's thread yet.

I am off to the vet tomorrow morning with the monsters - annual visit for jags etc at the cost of £40 each. Hopefully no blood will be spilled - especially mine.

What is it about cats (and dogs) that make them so loveable?
fingers crossed that its non malignant prudie
Has anyone heard from Prudie about Mr Puss?
Question Author
No< Idon't think she has posted since sunday, I have this awful feeling.
She posted on Monday (I think) saying that Mr Puss was in overnight and would be having an op in order to have a biopsy and a possible mass removed. If it turned out to be malignant she was going to have to make a horrible decision. I'm keeping everything crossed for her boy.
I didn't really want to post about it yesterday. The vet rang me at work at lunchtime and said it was all pointless, he was full of cancer and bringing him round was not fair so I had to tearfully agree. I'm going there tonight to say goodbye and arrange to get his ashes for the garden - and pay an enormous bill. I'm sorry it was not good news, everyone has been so nice on here. I feel like I've been under a steamroller. Any tips for ridiculously baggy eyes?
Still I'm really glad things are good for you BMx
