I have just cleaned my dogs teeth and noticed a small hard lump between her teeth, it doesnt seem to be causing her any pain (she let me touch it), when i did it felt very wobbly.

The lump is the size of a pin head and the same colour as her gums

Any ideas what this could be - i'll be taking her to the vet tomorrow but i'm worried sick!!

Lily is going to the vet next week for surgery - the vet says its an epuli, though nothing too nasty. Worried, worried, worried
Before you have the operation, do some research on 'epuli'. They are not uncommon growths, and are benign and uncanerous. I know sometimes they come back, but if left alone they dont cause a problem, unless of course they grow rapidly and cause a problem with eating.
