Was having a nosey at tanks on ebay ... Been threatning to get one for ages....

they are a lot of work to do properly you have enough to worry about I had to give up mine

Im not planning on one anytime soon. Skint for a start lol...was just browsing through really xxx
They're designed for Betta fish, and no ,they're far from ideal. However if you really want to see depressing, have a look at what some fish shops keep there Bettas for sale in.

I have a Betta called Foo.... he cost me a fortune to buy as I had him imported he lives a life of luxury in one of these......

They can live in small tanks but IMO still need filtered water and a heater.
I love my Fighter.... he's soooo pretty

Tinkerbell, it looks more suitable for an orchid than a fish.
in the US there is a fashion for giant glass shells and so on with fish in. People buy them because they look stunning then cannot believe it when the fish die. If you want to see real nastiness google for european reptile fairs, the reptiles are sold in heat sealed plastic boxes like microwave meals.
