I used to have a cat, Katie, that did that between the garden shed and a fence - and she only had three legs.

Amazingly resourceful are cats.

My lady cat just throws herself off high places (even the stairs) and hopes for the best. There is no way she would be clever enough to do what Piggy does. Frankie is smarter - but it would be too much like hard work to climb down the fridge.

We had one once who could open the fridge door and steal anything he wanted from inside. We had to get a lock fitted so that he couldn't open it. He was most annoyed.

I used to have a house with a balcony that was supported by a wooden post one side and an extension of the brick wall the other. My neighbours' Burmese cat would climb up the bricks with one front paw either side and get onto my balcony and from there into my house if the door was open. He also used the loo (not mine but my neighbours').

i thought this was quite funny, cute. my cat used to do daft things as well, not least get stuck in some very awkward places. Went missing for months as well, and when came he back he was about half his weight and so badly bitten that i had to rush him off to vets. When he passed away i was absolutely heartbroken.
