Can you shoot them? One squirrel in the garden is driving me nuts!!!!

Theres always only one, and he sits there looking at you and I'm sure he is smirking at me, staring me out. Help --can I buy an airgun?

He is causing havoc in my garden and driving us both mad.

You can buy an airgun and shoot vermin within the confines of your garden but you must ensure that the pellet does not go over your boundary.
Grey or red?
Is it a red one? I think the are endangered:
Why the feck would you want to shoot a squirrel just for being in your garden? You sound a bit overwrought to be honest about something so trivial.

If you go down that route please make sure you get a gun that is 'man' enough to do the job - mant very cheap ones simply aren't. Expect to pay at least £200 new. Weirauch is an excellent make.

Its a grey one. I used to love squirrels i must admit but have never had encouraged them into our garden. I've thought of making the perches really sticky with stuff but that would effect our woodpecker that comes in accasionally. They may have trouble climbing up the 6 --7 ft pole.
I'm so angry at the mo and feel like bawling!
i love everything in my garden, but its a no no to squirrels.
I am giving serious consideration to a spot of squirrel pie.

They are eating the bird food, my soft fruit and anything else they can lay their paws on.

Knowing the diet they have had I have no qualms shooting and eating the little blighters.
Squirrel pie anyone?
Are you okay Puss? I'm not being sarcastic at all, but you're really not making a lot of sense. Is everything ( apart from the squirrel) alright?

* to chase him out of the garden*
Rather than go to the expense of getting your own gun and doing the job yourself, perhaps there is an airgun club local to you that might have an experienced person willing to help you out because it isn't as easy as you might think?
Which part of the country do you live in?
