A friend told me about it today,he had reported pot holes in his street many times to the local council but got no joy, yet within days of reporting it via this site they were fixed.You can report anything from litter to animal abuse.

Yes we have a column in our Yorkshire Evening Post where readers can report problems with trees, potholes broken fencing etc. And the Council quickly put things to rights. Luckily our local councillors are on the ball too, scoring points off one another, so a great deal can be achieved by reporting longstanding problems.

I think I read an answer here recently that said if your council had been notified of a pothole and done nothing about it, you might be able to sue them when you fell into it; so this site could be useful evidence.
