Does anyone know why there are no pork flavoured dog foods?  Our canine friends can dine on rabbit, duck, beef, lamb, tuna, turkey amongst others but why no pork?

Thanks

Unless you know what religion your dog believes in, why risk offending him/her by offering pork?
Pork is known to cause pancreatitis in dogs.

Thanks folks.  I take it that if my angry dog doesn't eat pork then I should Mussel 'im!
I think a more appropriate question would be, why isn't there any dog flavoured pig swill.
My boyfriends dad works in a factory and as part of his job he had to visit a pet food factory and apparantly all pet food is the same meat, chicken i think, with a flavouring added. Beef, lamb whatever!
