Mosquito and gnat bites, whats the best way to stop the itch?

Would anti-itch cream work, i dont usually suffer from these bites but this year I am getting bitten to death and waking up in the night itching and scratching like a madman.!!

Anyone know the name of the electric clicky thing. I am not sure that I have the nerve to go into Boots and ask for it....as an electric clicky bite thing... Thanks all

It's near the bite products! Right next to mossie spray etc... Small plastic device with a button on the top! Brilliant thing!

I had a few bites the other night, but bought a spray, shut the windows, had a good old spray around, ran out, shut the door, left it for a couple of hours, it did the trick, i think they only come out at night, so they will hide in the bedroom.
