Dog Registration, please help...

Can anyone over there in the UK (i'm in the U.S.) tell me if I can register my dog eventhough I didn't get her papers from the breeder I bought her from?

She is a full-bred Pembroke Welsh Corgi, but her breeder was quite disappointing and never gave me papers on her for the CKC or AKC...did I get stiffed or what??

best option is to go to the AKC website and see what they say. if you can prove the parentage, you may be able to register, but IMHO, you got stiffed!!

when I answered this morning, the akc website was down  I have looked again and found this which might help?

woofgang, thanks for your help on this issue...I did find what I needed on the AKC link that you gave me...looks like the bottomline is my little girl will only be eligible for and ILP registration, but not an official AKC...

and in all honesty, she is only my companion, so there is no real need for registration...

and by the way, what does IMHO mean?
