just nipped to the vilage shop in the car, parked back up outside and just glimpsed next door but one's cat jumping into a garden across the way, she's always at my window/door and sits with my cats all day, I started to walk into the house but checked myself and walked back over the road and looked through the bushes between the path and the house's back fence, my white cat Trisha, who had been ASLEEP on my sofa when i'd nipped out, was crying behind the bushes and so i walked round and my LIZZIE was just sitting there in the soil! She never moved and I picked her up, she was shaking, but just grabbed onto me. God I've just cried my eyes out! She was litterally 40 feet from my front door but hadn't come home, and I must have walked passed her 3 times today calling but if she was there she hadn't come out.
But Trisha knew where she was all along and so did their mate! little beggars they are, but they had led me to her!

I've just phoned my daughter and got all emotional, I can't believe how those other 2 were there and waiting for me to find her. they must have known something was wrong.
I'm pleased for you - it must be such a relief xx
Great news, I'm delighted for you. I'd be dsitraught if I lost one of my monsters.
Pleased she is back.
so glad you found her safe and well...plenty of hugs..and fooood.xx
Awww I'm glad she's back.
I would get a vet to check her over. It is very odd that she was so close to home but didn't return home, also the fact that she was shaking so much.
good news..hope she is ok..at least you will be able to get some sleep tonight !
No it's not daffy. As I said to the OP in the other thread, she would most likely have been home after dark anyway when she wasn't so frightened. I have a cat that behaves in exactly the same way if I accidentally lock her out for the night. She always comes back the next night after dark.
I call it my punishment.
Question Author
she ate straight away when she came in and has been asleep on the bed ever since, can't find any physical issues, i'll see how she is over the next few hours but all seems well. it's strange that she was so close by,
I don't think mine goes far dotty. I think she just kinda freezes when she's scared. She's a timid thing really.
Question Author
yes Lizzie is quite timid. I wonder if that's why she was with the cats rescue, maybe she was found in a similar state but was actually quite near to home?
It's so good that you have her home again. :-)
Glad you've found here and that she seems ok. My little kitty can be unleashed on the great outdoors next month and I'm already getting nervous that I'll have separation anxiety the whole time!
