I am scared of losing my best ever mate

i think most of you will know becci known as boodle on here ,well she attends my high school and we are best mates and as you know she has a dog and pony and she keeps falling out with me because she says i am using her so i can ride or walk her dog and pony , i tell her the truth and say i am her best mate because of who she is not bacuse of her animas and that it would make no difference to our friendship if she did not have any pets but when i tell her this she says i  am lying  and i wondered if there  was any chance i could prove all this to her thanks

Christy, perhaps the best thing you can do to convince your friend is to do things with her that have nothing whatever to do with the pony or dog. Are there things the two of you could do together at your house? Even cook a meal together for both of your folks? It doesn't have to be a complicated meal, it could be snacks. It could be that your friend has mistaken your enjoyment of spending time at her house for only wanting what she has, rather than what she is. If you can show her that the two of you can have just as much fun without her pony or dog, then you are on to a winner! If she still won't see it, then perhaps you should consider how much of a friend she really is.

Turn the tables, make no effort to visit her at all wait and see if she contacts you. Do not ignore her completely be civil but nuetral, do not initiate anything, see what she does, see if she thinks you are her "best" friend, see if she tries to spend time with you. if she does nothing then it's a one sided friendship she is not your friend.
