Can a Parakeet Be Kept Outside
1 Answers
I think I want to get a parakeet to keep (in a cage of course) on my screened in porch. Would I need to bring him in at night, or could he just stay out there all the time? I live in Alabama (zone7 if that matters)

So temperature/climate wise it shouldn't be a problem. However please make sure any Parakeet you may decide to buy has been bred in captivity. Otherwise keeping a wild one in a cage would be akin to forcing you to spend the rest of your life in a broom cupboard!
