I love butterflies and anything to do with them.

I had a buttlerfly house bought for me for Christmas. Has anyone else got one of these and can you give me any tips.

I went to a buttlerly place in the summer and I noticed they eat apple and orange but I don't really know much else about them.

What species of butterfly do you get?

I haven't really had many in my garden. I am trying to add plants to encourage them..any advice appreciated

If you leave out pieces of apple and orange you'll probably attract loads of wasps.

Your local wildlife trust will have a leaflet on setting up a butterfly garden. Here's an example from Northumberland WT:

If you're anywhere near London...or Surrey to be a bit more exact, RHS Wisley have some stunning butterflies from 12 jan to 24th Feb. Went last year and it was well worth it
