9p Pie

I just wanted to share this with everybody, as I was quite exited about it for several hours after purchase (being not completely sober). I bought a pie from Morrisons (Safeway) for 9p!!!!! and I'm not talking about a small egg custard type pie, I'm talking, a nice big cherry pie. I couldn't believe my luck, it wasn't even that nice, but for 9p, who cares! Just thought I'd share my joy with you all!

Seal!  What utter joy!  I know when I find a bargain it absolutely makes my day.  I am sure you will enjoy the pie even more knowing its price.  Hey, I'm actually smiling as I type.  That's an odd one.

Isn't it great to get a bargain! I once got some ready meals from Somerfield for 30p each and even better got some Golden Churn FREE from Asda (it didn't scan and even the supervisor couldn't get it to go through, so they gave it to me!).

I used to live very close to Safeways, and I would go in and 8.58pm, 2 minutes before they were due to shut! There would be nobody in the store hardly, and all the reduced stuff would be REALLY reduced, as they would only chuck it out otherwise. I lived on that stuff quite happily, which was great as I was a student at the time!

i got a stick of french bread from asda for 3 PENCE and i grilled it! and lo, it was GOOD. But let us not stop there! I got a bag of avocados (small, but 5 in number) for 13p

When I worked in Sainsburys I used to work on the freezer department, every now and again we would clear the freezer out and make up a shopping bag of reduced items for �1, normally we would stick in a little extra for all the ladies we liked. Some of the bags had �20 - �30 of stuff in them.
