Morning All !

Hope to avoid yesterday's amusement. Went for a walk in a snowy Cambridge Botanic Garden. The trees around the lake looked particularly fine. As I walked over the snow towards the lake, I came to a kerb and stepped off it on to the grey tarmac of the path. This was a slight misjudgement. The 'tarmac of the path' was the grey ice covering the lake and the 'kerb' was the lake edge. The ice was too thin. Ah, well.

Sad thing was that nobody was around to fall about laughing at this Laurel and Hardy moment; as I hauled myself out , there wasn't so much as a squirrel.

Today, I have given up visiting other gardens; far too wet for my liking; and shall concentrate on hacking various bits of my own to within an inch of their lives. Have a good day,all!

Morning fellow insomniacs.xx Bit chilly here in Sussex this morning. I've been out to feed the birds and now just waiting for the snow to arrive later this morning. I've got a ton of ironing to do. We have no snow here but it's in lots of other places. Dil coming later as she will be working early on Monday near here. It's only 20 mins from here to her work, otherwise a possible 2- 3 hours if she comes from home and if weather/roads bad on Mon morning.

morning all, fred pls choose somewhere where there are people around, could have been disastrous and no one to hear your cries for help, pls take care.I have been up since 6am thanks to the mutts why dont they understand weekends ?
