Dog Poo & Blood
5 Answers
Hi!!
Ive just rehomed a pooch from a rescue centre, I've had him 4 days during which time he has had diarrhoea, I assumed that this was due to change in diet over the last few weeks from his old home to the rescue centre to here and have been feeding him carefully to resolve this, however I have noticed blood today and yesterday and am very concerned!! :( I'm planning a trip to the vets and have googled all the horrific things this could be, I'm just wondering if there could be a less serious explanation for this linked to all his recent upheaval!! He also was neutered and vaccinated last week amd wormed and fleaed at the rescue centre so wondering whether any of this could have had an impact!! Thanks

How old is your dog? If I were you I would get him to the vet today or tomorrow. He may start to get dehydrated. Poor wee thing. It could be an accumulation of all that he has been through lately.
Good luck

If you've only had him 4 days littlefoot, have you phoned the Rescue Centre where you got him from and if so what did they say? If not I would talk to them immediately because they might be able to shed some light on the problem. But don't mess about getting him to the vet, this could be serious I'm afraid.
Let us know how you get on won't you. I do hope he's OK.
