Cat Bathroom Advice Please ....

Currently I have a cat litter box (deep one that is supposed to have a lid - but the lid is long gone) in the bathroom and have been using Tesco low dust lightweight cat litter. This cat litter has vanished from Tesco and they have been unable to tell me if it will be back (repackaged and repriced).

I have now decided to move the litter tray (planned for a while) out of the bathroom (have now done this with no problems) but am unsure what to do about a new litter/litter tray system.

Has anybody tried one of the litter disposal systems (like this http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/cats/cat_litter_litter_boxes/catlitter_disposal_products/207514#more ) or one of the new fangle cat litter boxes (like http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/cats/cat_litter_litter_boxes/litter_boxes_nofilter/litter_boxes_without_filter/213992 ) or any of the others on this page http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/cats/cat_litter_litter_boxes ????

Our cat has to do his business outside.

He is only allowed a litter tray when there is deep snow, or we are going out for some time.
I go out for some time every day Hopkirk, to work, so I have to have a litter tray.
I have a walk in one with a flap and I use the wood pellets. I think they keep the odour down better than any other litter.
