Are animals lungs affected in the same detrimental way as humans are by passive smoking? And can animals develop lung cancer-or any type of cancer? I am a heavy smoker with two pet cats, just wondering if i am doing them any damage. P.S. If they can develope it what is the smallest creature that can develop lung cancer?

yes they are. I have seen two stories where animals were affected by passive smolking, one was a budgie, the other a cat
