Increase In Red Kites.

Now that red kites are starting to spread further into the west country will they have an impact on the buzzard population?

There's no evidence for that where they have been reintroduced and they are greatly outnumbered by Buzzards

Don't know about that, but a local farmer told me he was surprised lately that no gulls were following his plough. Then he realised that five buzzards were following him instead - they'd obviously scared the gulls off!
