My girlfriend has a pet Belgian Hare.  She (the hare) has recently had a litter(?) and we have kept one of the babies and the mother.

 

We have noticed in the last day or so that the mother keeps mounting the baby (we havent had the baby sexed yet).  I would be more concerned if it was the other way round but can anyone explain what the mother is doing?

I have no idea, but you might want to separate those two until you learn the gender of junior bunny!
